About the role

The company is seeking a qualified Public Accountant to take full responsibility for its accounting and tax processes. Working directly with management, the successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fully onsite environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record and analyse all accounting entries.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare balance‑sheet closures and financial statements.
• Calculate and file corporate taxes.
• Control and organise supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with the finance director on strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Degree in Public Accounting.
• 2–3 years of experience in similar accounting positions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Proven ability to conduct reconciliations and close balances.
• Residence in San José or nearby areas.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
