Analytics Engineer - Digital Media

About the role

This position is ideal for a data professional who enjoys working at the intersection of analytics engineering, data modeling, and business intelligence. You will build scalable data solutions in a cloud environment, design and optimise data models, maintain reliable pipelines, and support a high‑quality analytics infrastructure for a leading audiobook publisher.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models in Amazon Redshift for reporting, dashboards, and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to expand and optimise the analytics warehouse architecture.
• Establish and enforce standards for schema design, naming conventions, and data lineage.
• Develop, maintain, and optimise data pipelines that deliver clean, reliable data to business users.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive data documentation, including metric definitions and transformation logic.
• Support BI platforms by providing analytics‑ready datasets and assisting with dashboard development.
• Monitor data quality and implement testing, alerting, and validation processes to ensure warehouse reliability.
• Identify opportunities to improve data accessibility, consistency, and usability across the organisation.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in SQL and cloud data‑warehouse technologies.
• Experience designing and maintaining data models and pipelines in a cloud environment.
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into technical solutions.
