Analyst, Strategic Development

About the role

The Analyst, Strategic Development will support Global Travel Collection’s strategic development and reporting teams. Using PowerBI dashboards and other data tools, the analyst will respond to internal data requests, generate insights, and identify revenue opportunities across the travel advisory network.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to data requests from internal stakeholders, including ASO, partner, PR and Marketing teams.
• Proactively source and communicate business insights on booking and revenue trends to leadership.
• Lead air analysis to uncover growth opportunities for GTC advisors and feed findings to ASMs and ASDs.
• Perform ad‑hoc data analysis linked to strategic projects.
• Develop and deliver training on PowerBI dashboards and other visualization tools (e.g., Advisor OS, Salesforce).
• Maintain and enhance PowerBI dashboards and Salesforce database, including data cleaning and entry.
• Maintain related SQL databases, including financial tables.
• Create automated reports and system integrations to generate insights.
• Support additional strategic or analytical projects as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data reporting, analytics or database management.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to convey technical information to non‑technical audiences.
• Analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability and detail‑oriented work style.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven recommendations.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH).
• PowerBI proficiency.
• Familiarity with Tableau or Alteryx (preferred).
• SQL knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of R or other programming languages (preferred).
• Understanding of Salesforce (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Sabre (advantage).
