About the role

BBVA is seeking a Data and Process Analyst to support the transformation of retail credit risk processes. The role focuses on designing, developing, and monitoring digital admission and evaluation strategies, leveraging advanced analytics and AI to improve decision quality, efficiency, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Review, optimise and evolve end‑to‑end risk processes, identifying opportunities for simplification and automation.
• Incorporate advanced analytics and AI capabilities to enhance decision making.
• Monitor the performance of digital admission and evaluation strategies.
• Provide a critical view of current processes and contribute to the design and implementation of new ways of working.
• Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across teams.

Required profile

• Graduate in Statistics, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of databases and mandatory programming skills in SQL and Python.
• Interest or experience with AI, machine learning and automation tools applied to business risk processes.
• Orientation to process improvement, proactive learning and knowledge sharing.
• Experience in the financial sector, especially risk, and handling large data volumes is valued.
