Analista de Control de Gestión – Montevideo

About the role

We are looking for a Management Control Analyst to turn data into strategic information that supports business decisions. The role will work closely with management to design, monitor and improve budgeting, cost structures and performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor the annual budget and its periodic revisions.
• Analyze variances between budgeted and actual results by cost center.
• Design, update and evaluate cost structures, identifying optimization opportunities and break‑even points.
• Analyze results by business unit, product or service line.
• Define, track and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Extract, clean and process data from the ERP system.
• Design and automate dashboards and management reports for senior leadership.
• Provide analytical and financial support to various departments.
• Participate in economic‑financial evaluations of new projects and businesses.
• Analyze investment and financing alternatives to aid decision‑making.
• Generate strategic insights to improve profitability and performance.

Required profile

• Advanced student or graduate in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related fields.
• 1–2 years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting or management control.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Proactive, autonomous and able to develop improvement proposals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex functions, Power Query).
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau and SQL (preferred).
• Solid understanding of general and cost accounting.
