Workshop Operator – Finishing (Carpentry/Metalwork/Signage)

About the role

We are a small workshop that creates custom signs, three‑dimensional letters, plaques, furniture and bespoke pieces in wood, metal and acrylic using CNC router and laser technology. After the machines cut the material, the real craftsmanship happens: sanding, assembling, welding, painting, installing and finishing.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and finish CNC‑cut components.
• Sanding, painting and varnishing of wooden and acrylic parts.
• Welding and grinding of small metal pieces.
• Install signs and letters at client locations.
• Perform basic maintenance of tools and keep the workshop organized.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with hand and power tools; must be able to show examples of past work.
• Attention to detail and a habit of double‑checking before cutting.
• Eagerness to learn CNC router and laser operation (training provided).
