Tech Lead (Sanity CMS) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to join our talent network and work on remote, project‑based assignments for U.S. clients. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to drive large‑scale CMS migration initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture decisions and guide engineering teams through complex technical projects.
• Plan and execute migration of legacy content to Sanity CMS, including content modeling, data mapping, and transformation.
• Design and implement backend services, APIs, and integration layers with enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (product, content, engineering) to ensure seamless delivery.
• Identify technical risks, define migration strategies, and maintain data integrity throughout the project.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or team‑lead roles.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale CMS migration projects.

Required skills

• TypeScript and Node.js in production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Sanity CMS (content schemas, APIs, migration tooling).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and/or Next.js.
• Understanding of headless CMS architectures and document‑based databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern deployment workflows.
