Solutions Architect

About the role

SunnyData, a leading Databricks technology partner, is looking for a Solutions Architect to drive customer success through technical execution and pre‑sales support. You will split your time evenly between billable project work and pre‑sales activities, acting as a trusted advisor on data engineering and architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy end‑to‑end data solutions that enable AI, ML, and BI initiatives on the Databricks platform.
• Serve as a technical advisor to customers, guiding data engineering and architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to present technical solutions and demonstrate SunnyData’s value.
• Lead internal project teams, mentor engineers, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Perform system analysis, resolve data defects, and conduct quality‑assurance testing of data pipelines.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience as a Solutions Architect or senior data engineer, with recent focus on Databricks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead complex architecture discovery sessions and produce implementation blueprints.
• Strong client‑facing communication and presentation skills.
