Software Test Engineer (Junior-Mid)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our small engineering team in Montevideo. The position focuses on test automation and quality assurance, combining hands‑on testing with code‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Perform API testing and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and high‑quality releases.
• Identify, report, and track defects across web and backend services.
• Continuously improve testing frameworks and processes.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in software testing or test automation.
• Strong programming foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
• Intermediate to advanced English (B2+).
• Ability to work on‑site or in a hybrid model in Montevideo.
• Motivation to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.
