Senior Quality Engineer – QA Automation & AI

About the role

We are an award‑winning creative innovation company seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure the stability, reliability, and overall quality of our software products. You will partner with the Technology team throughout the development lifecycle, shaping testing strategies and driving the adoption of AI‑enhanced QA practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute comprehensive testing plans across the software development lifecycle.
• Review requirements and technical specifications to identify testing needs and potential risks.
• Perform and oversee both manual and automated testing activities.
• Collaborate with developers, producers, project managers, designers, and technical directors.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and release validation.
• Define and promote QA best practices, quality standards, and testing processes.
• Coordinate internal and external QA resources when required.
• Identify recurring defects and suggest improvements to development and testing processes.
• Explore and implement testing tools, automation opportunities, quality metrics, and AI‑driven QA practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering.
• Strong background in both manual and automated testing.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and document test plans.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development lifecycles.
• Experience coordinating or mentoring QA/QE professionals.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
