Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Blend360 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimise scalable cloud‑based data pipelines within a modern AWS ecosystem. You will work closely with the Senior Data Architect and Data Engineering Manager to support enterprise‑wide data initiatives across multiple business domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services.
• Develop and optimise data ingestion, transformation and enrichment workflows.
• Implement and maintain Change Data Capture (CDC) patterns and batch processing frameworks.
• Integrate external vendor data sources and manage complex transformation logic for customer, behavioural, engagement and third‑party data.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, ensuring data quality, reliability and operational excellence.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews and technical planning sessions.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools and modern engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Strong experience in data engineering and designing scalable pipeline architectures.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities in Agile environments.
• Hands‑on experience with CDC implementation and large‑scale data processing.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
