Senior Accountant – Hospitality Industry

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to support its fast‑growing portfolio of hospitality clients. You will own month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensure accurate financial reporting under US GAAP, and provide high‑quality service to multiple properties.

Key responsibilities

• Drive month‑end and year‑end close, preparing P&L and Balance Sheet statements on schedule.
• Streamline balance‑sheet reconciliations as client volume expands.
• Manage journal entries, reporting, and reconciliations across multiple properties or client accounts.
• Integrate and operate hospitality and accounting platforms to process daily financial data.
• Identify workflow improvements, strengthen internal controls, and deliver clear financial insights to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, property accounting, or outsourced accounting services.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, full‑cycle accounting, and financial reporting.
• Self‑starter with high accountability, able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
