About the role
Anyone AI is looking for experienced Python Software Engineers to work on paid, project‑based engagements for a leading AI lab. You will tackle clearly scoped software engineering projects, working remotely and managing your own schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Debug and resolve issues across complex, multi‑file codebases.
- Implement new backend or full‑stack functionality.
- Refactor and migrate existing systems.
- Develop and extend unit and integration test suites.
- Write clear technical specifications and reference implementations.
- Review code and technical submissions for correctness and quality.
- Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes.
- Validate that requirements, code, tests, and expected outputs are aligned.
Required profile
- 2–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and professional written English.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and at least one additional language (Java, C#, or Go).
- Background in backend or full‑stack production systems.
- Ability to navigate and debug large, multi‑file codebases.
