Python Developer – Remote (Uruguay)

About the role

Anyone AI is looking for experienced Python Software Engineers to work on paid, project‑based engagements for a leading AI lab. You will tackle clearly scoped software engineering projects, working remotely and managing your own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Debug and resolve issues across complex, multi‑file codebases.
• Implement new backend or full‑stack functionality.
• Refactor and migrate existing systems.
• Develop and extend unit and integration test suites.
• Write clear technical specifications and reference implementations.
• Review code and technical submissions for correctness and quality.
• Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes.
• Validate that requirements, code, tests, and expected outputs are aligned.

Required profile

• 2–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and professional written English.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and at least one additional language (Java, C#, or Go).
• Background in backend or full‑stack production systems.
• Ability to navigate and debug large, multi‑file codebases.
