Project Manager – Industrial Designer – Travel Retail (Experienced)

About the role

Obvio Worldwide Communication is seeking a senior Project Manager with industrial design expertise to lead travel‑retail activations and in‑store POSM projects. You will act as the central hub between creative concepts, client expectations, and the physical execution of high‑impact retail environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of travel‑retail activations (airports, cruise lines, duty‑free) and in‑store furniture projects.
• Translate creative briefs into technically feasible, high‑quality solutions.
• Oversee production, including material sourcing, supplier coordination, factory management, quality control, and on‑site installation.
• Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and specifications to meet financial and operational targets.
• Collaborate with internal strategy, creative, and account teams as well as external clients, suppliers, and fabricators.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing retail activations, in‑store furniture, or POSM production.
• Portfolio demonstrating successful travel‑retail or high‑end retail projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of materials and fabrication processes.
• Exceptional organisational ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Detail‑oriented problem‑solver thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
