Product Designer

About the role

Applaudo is looking for a Product Designer who blends strong visual and interaction design expertise with strategic product thinking and a data‑informed mindset. You will help shape end‑to‑end experiences for web and mobile products, working closely with product managers, developers and data teams.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑lead product vision and design strategy alongside Product Managers.
• Define opportunities, validate hypotheses and measure the impact of design decisions through evidence and experimentation.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers and data specialists to translate research into actionable design solutions.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, execution and frontend shaping while establishing best practices for AI‑augmented design.
• Define, track and interpret UX KPIs, connecting them to user and business outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in Interaction Design, HCI, Service Design, Graphic Design or related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience designing digital products and interfaces.
• 1–2 years of demonstrated product thinking and data‑informed decision‑making.
• Proactive, autonomous and highly collaborative with strong stakeholder management.
• Fluent in English (C1 or higher) and Spanish.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including design systems, tokens and scalable components.
• Strong knowledge of UX research, interaction design, visual design, accessibility and usability principles.
• Experience designing and interpreting A/B experiments and usability validation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Lean UX or Continuous Discovery frameworks.
• Technical foundation in frontend concepts, databases, APIs and cloud architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with AI design tools and ability to evaluate AI outputs for quality and bias.
