Principal Technical Consultant

About the role

Oracle is looking for a Principal Technical Consultant to design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions on the NetSuite platform. The role combines deep technical expertise with customer‑facing consulting to deliver high‑quality customizations and integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable NetSuite solutions, including customizations and integrations.
• Implement performance improvements and follow industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Participate in full software development life cycles from design through deployment.
• Apply Oracle methodologies, document processes, and promote leading practices.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Codex) to accelerate implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Review and validate AI‑generated code for security, performance, maintainability, and alignment with NetSuite best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software development experience in enterprise or SaaS environments.
• 2+ years in technical consulting, solution delivery, or customer‑facing development roles.
• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite/SuiteCloud development.
• Strong programming background in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and integration frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and code versioning tools.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development frameworks such as Codex, Claude, or Copilot.
