Primary English Curriculum Coordinator

About the role

The Primary English Curriculum Coordinator leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of all English‑medium curriculum for primary grades. Working closely with the Primary Spanish Coordinator, this role ensures coherence, consistency, and high‑quality teaching across classrooms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, and refine the English curriculum for all primary grade levels.
• Ensure alignment between English language development and content subjects taught in English.
• Support teachers with instructional coaching, lesson planning, differentiation, and scaffolding for English language learners.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide actionable feedback.
• Monitor student learning data to inform teaching and interventions.
• Collaborate with learning support to design targeted interventions and accommodations.
• Oversee attendance, staff coverage, reporting systems, and academic calendars for the English‑medium program.
• Contribute to internal reviews, accreditation processes, and budget preparation.
