About the role

We are seeking a professional to lead our English department at Colegio Resplandor, a new Christian educational community opening in 2027 in Punta Ballena, Maldonado. The role involves shaping the pedagogical framework, ensuring articulation across Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary levels, and mentoring teaching staff daily.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the English department and define its pedagogical framework.
• Ensure curriculum articulation across Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary levels.
• Provide daily mentoring and support to English teaching staff.
• Contribute to the development and consolidation of the school’s educational model as part of the founding team.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2), e.g., Cambridge Proficiency certification or relevant degree.
• Proficiency in the Cambridge curriculum framework and assessment standards.
• Proven educational leadership and experience in teacher mentoring.
• Experience in curriculum planning and learning assessment.
• Alignment with the school’s Christian identity and values.
• Experience across Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary levels (desirable).
