About the role

The company is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Officer to perform preventive and corrective work on electromechanical equipment at its facilities in Maldonado. The position is outsourced through AyM Santa Lucía and offers an 18‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on OSE‑UGD electromechanical installations.
• Design and modify electrical, electronic, and control circuits for upgrades and repairs.
• Document work according to ISO quality parameters, including incidents, indicators, training, and client satisfaction.
• Record all tasks performed and maintain equipment manuals, instrument logs, and control system documentation.
• Operate and maintain protective devices, grounding systems, and indirect contact safeguards.
• Test and troubleshoot communication signals (4‑20 mA, 0‑10 V, pulses, Modbus RTU/TCP).
• Interpret power, control, and communication schematics.
• Drive Category A vehicles for material handling and stock supervision.
• Provide technical support for material receipt and stock management in the department’s store.

Required profile

• Valid national ID and health card.
• Completed secondary education with a focus on Electricity or Electronics (UTU).
• Professional training certificate (COCAP) in Electro‑Electronics.
• Certificate of completion for Don Bosco Residential Electricity Workshops.
• Proven experience with electrical diagrams, low‑voltage maintenance, mechanical maintenance, and automatic control systems, supported by employer‑signed references.
• Possession of a Category A driver’s license.
