Mid-Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Java/Python, React, TypeScript, AWS

About the role

We are looking for a Mid‑Senior Full‑Stack Engineer to join our fast‑moving team delivering cutting‑edge solutions for top startups across LATAM. You will work on end‑to‑end features, from backend services to responsive front‑end interfaces, using Java or Python, React, TypeScript and AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate on technical designs and integrate new features based on requirements.
• Own feature delivery from database schema design to front‑end implementation and deployment.
• Write unit, integration and functional tests across the stack and conduct code reviews.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in databases, APIs and UI rendering.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Cursor, ClaudeCode, Codex) to improve development efficiency and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency with strong verbal and written communication.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience in a full‑stack role.
• Self‑motivated, collaborative and comfortable in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Required skills

• Java or Python for backend development.
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design and query optimisation.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (SQS, SNS, Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• React and TypeScript for dynamic, responsive front‑end applications.
• Frontend testing tools like Jest or Cypress.
• Experience using AI‑assisted coding tools (Cursor, ClaudeCode, Codex).
