About the role
We are looking for a Mathematics & Python Expert to join our network of freelance AI trainers. You will help shape AI evaluation datasets by designing and validating computational mathematics problems that reflect real research workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Design original computational mathematics problems that require Python implementation (using NumPy, SciPy, SymPy).
- Create problem statements in areas such as number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and numerical analysis.
- Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
- Base problems on real research challenges or practical applications from mathematical practice.
- Verify solutions programmatically and document problem statements with clear, correct answers.
Required profile
- Degree in Mathematics (pure or applied) or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in applied research, teaching, or related work.
- Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
- Experience with numerical methods, symbolic computation, and computational complexity theory.

What we offer
- Project‑based freelance engagement, fully remote.

- Compensation up to $17 USD per hour, depending on expertise and contribution speed.
