About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the end‑to‑end logistics operation of a fast‑growing consumer goods importer. The role will oversee storage, distribution and inventory while driving the design and launch of a new logistics centre.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of storage, distribution and inventory to ensure a seamless supply chain.
• Design and execute operational plans that support business growth.
• Lead and develop the Warehouse and Distribution Logistics teams, maintaining high performance standards.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, on‑time deliveries and agreed service levels.
• Define, monitor and act on KPIs to foster continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with logistics providers and collaborate across company functions.
• Participate in the design, construction and commissioning of the new logistics centre, including layout, technology and operating procedures.

Required profile

• University degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or coordination role within logistics, preferably in consumer goods or retail.
• Strong results orientation, leadership ability and focus on process optimisation.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Experience with ERP, WMS and TMS systems.
• Data analysis and KPI reporting.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., BIT).
