Jefe/a de Línea - Máquinas y Herramientas

About the role

We are looking for a Line Manager for the Machines and Tools category to lead the commercial strategy of this product line in Uruguay. The role will be responsible for the full portfolio management, pricing, inventory, profitability and demand generation, working closely with sales, marketing and the commercial management team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete product portfolio, overseeing product introductions, discontinuations, pricing, discounts, turnover and differentiation.
• Monitor sales performance, margins, inventory levels, rotation and coverage, identifying growth opportunities.
• Plan, execute, measure and adjust the commercial plan for the category.
• Negotiate and maintain relationships with international suppliers, set forecasts and track objectives.
• Prepare and analyse management reports, KPIs and dashboards to support decision‑making.
• Conduct market, competitor and price trend analysis.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Trade Marketing on communications, promotions, displays and activations across channels.
• Lead and develop the technical assistance team responsible for training, product demonstrations and demand generation.
• Provide technical‑commercial support to the sales force, delivering tools, training and materials.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar commercial management position.
• Strong commercial orientation and results‑driven mindset.
• Proven experience negotiating with suppliers and handling commercial planning, forecasts and performance indicators.
• Intermediate English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge in machines, tools, agricultural machinery, parts or related categories is valued but not mandatory.
