IT Operations Manager – Infrastructure & Security

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead the infrastructure, security and service management functions for a client operating in the advertising and marketing sector with a focus on biotech. The role will oversee day‑to‑day IT operations, ensure compliance with security standards and drive automation across the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage IT service delivery (ITSM) including triage, SLA monitoring and reporting.
• Administer identity and access solutions for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Maintain and support endpoints (macOS, Windows, Linux) and corporate networks.
• Lead the path to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification.
• Develop internal automation using Python, Node.js and TypeScript.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS – monitoring, backup, cost optimisation.
• Coordinate vendors and manage IT assets.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of hands‑on experience leading or operating an ITSM function.
• Strong background in Linux, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure), backup and monitoring.
• Experience with corporate identity management and endpoint administration.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python and Node/JavaScript.
• Demonstrated ownership of an IT area.
