HR Generalist – On-site in Montevideo

About the role

We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our Montevideo office and support daily People operations. You will help implement policies, manage compensation, onboarding, and serve as the point person for office logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment.
• Monitor compensation and benefits plans.
• Collect and verify time‑keeping information for all employees.
• Organise training and development initiatives.
• Conduct employee onboarding.
• Address employee requests and grievances promptly.
• Maintain HR procedures in line with labour regulations.
• Keep employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
• Perform receptionist duties when needed.
• Handle Montevideo office generalist duties such as maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, budgets, shopping, logistics and coordination.
• Flexibly undertake additional duties outside the core specification as required.

Required profile

• Fluent in English.
• At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources administrative positions.
• Tech‑savvy with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a quality‑focused mindset.
• Solution‑oriented, self‑starter and team player.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Full‑time, onsite availability.
• Resident of Montevideo, Uruguay.
