About the role
The Guest Services Officer must be friendly, passionate, and committed. They actively listen and extend assistance to resolve guest issues and concerns, bringing a strong guest‑satisfaction disposition and a great sense of humor.
Key responsibilities
- Actively listen to guests and extend assistance to resolve issues and concerns.
- Communicate tactfully with guests, department heads and shipboard employees to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
Required profile
- Minimum one‑year experience in a customer contact position within the hotel field or a related industry.
- Minimum one‑year cash handling experience with knowledge of US currency and exchange rates.
- Completion of high school or basic education equivalency preferred.
- Willingness to work onboard for 5‑6 months.
Required skills
- Operation of basic office equipment such as telephones, computers and copy machines.
- Cash handling proficiency.
