Forward Deployed AI Engineer (TypeScript) – Remote

About the role

FullStack is seeking a senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to embed with enterprise clients across Latin America. You will identify real AI opportunities, design end‑to‑end agentic systems, and deliver production‑ready solutions that operate reliably in regulated environments.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops, separate genuine AI problems from workflow issues, and produce a scoped, defensible solution.
• Architect and design agentic systems, including orchestration, context retrieval, tool integration, guardrails, and human‑in‑the‑loop checkpoints.
• Build and ship production agents, multi‑step automations, internal tooling, and integration layers, owning CI/CD pipelines.
• Present technical decisions to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and business leaders, quantifying impact in business terms.
• Support pre‑sales scoping, proposal work, and client enablement when required.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of professional software development, back‑end heavy, full‑stack capable.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Principal Engineer, or Tech Lead, with a track record of assessing environments and defining roadmaps.
• Hands‑on experience building and shipping LLM‑driven and agentic AI systems in production.
• Strong consulting skills: discovery workshops, stakeholder alignment, and translating technical decisions into business outcomes.
