About the role
We are looking for an entry‑level Buyer to join our supply‑chain team. The role involves supporting the procurement process, managing purchase orders and collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
Key responsibilities
- Place, cancel and reschedule purchase orders with approved suppliers.
- Request and evaluate supplier quotes against cost, delivery and quality targets.
- Analyze and report purchase price variance and assist with annual budgeting for purchases.
- Maintain material flow, ensuring raw material receipt, inspection and release.
- Forecast and manage inventory levels to optimize availability and working capital.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess supplier capabilities and performance.
- Identify and support cost‑reduction and savings initiatives.
Required profile
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
- Basic understanding of purchasing and supply‑chain concepts.
- Ability to analyze data, make informed judgments and communicate effectively.
- Commitment to safety, quality, environmental and regulatory compliance.
