About the role

The Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) is seeking an Education Executive to strengthen its Education agenda across member countries. The role will support technical cooperation, financing operations, and strategic dialogue to improve education outcomes in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and expand the activities of the Social and Human Development Management, identifying new opportunities and providing specialized technical support.
• Support the operational plan for the Education agenda, including origination, evaluation, and administration of financing operations.
• Address technical cooperation needs with member countries, managing origination, formalization, and administration of projects.
• Assist in developing country strategies, action plans, and support mechanisms to create a roadmap for CAF’s strategic education assistance.
• Organize sectoral dialogues to identify education needs that CAF can address.
• Identify and engage key partners such as UNESCO, UNICEF, and other relevant organizations.
• Develop and disseminate knowledge products (articles, webinars, systematizations) to enhance CAF’s regional and global education profile.
• Prepare progress reports and administrative documentation for the Education Directorate.

Required profile

• University degree in education, social sciences or related fields.
• Specialization or master’s degree in education, public policy or a related area (preferred).
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in education‑related activities.
• Experience working with multilateral credit institutions.
• Consultancy or advisory experience (preferred).
• Proven experience in designing, implementing and managing programs and projects.
