API & UI Test Automation Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company with more than 15 years of experience and a remote-first team of 4,000+ people, is hiring an API & UI Test Automation Engineer. The engineer ensures the quality and performance of applications by designing and running comprehensive automated testing strategies, acting as a bridge between development and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Establish advanced automation frameworks that validate both user interfaces and backend services.
• Define and implement QA methodologies, test plans and validation strategies.
• Work with development teams to spot regressions and improve software reliability.
• Integrate automated test suites into continuous delivery workflows so quality is checked early.
• Maintain and improve test environments so tests run reliably and deterministically.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Automation Engineering.
• Proven ability to design and run automated API and UI testing strategies.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning and validation frameworks.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Test automation tools, specifically Playwright and Postman.
• API and UI test automation.
