About the role

Satellogic is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join its MAITE team at the production plant in Montevideo. You will work on the end‑to‑end fabrication of satellite components, ensuring that every part meets the strict standards of the space industry.

Key responsibilities

• Control the quality of incoming parts and verify supplier compliance.
• Develop, update and optimize work instructions for manufacturing processes.
• Participate in internal and external training programs to continuously improve professional skills.
• Produce mechanical and electronic components following aerospace standards.
• Assemble and integrate mechanical and electronic sub‑assemblies.
• Manage the production and isolation of satellite cable harnesses and thermal blankets.

Required profile

• Technical background in manufacturing, preferably with experience in aerospace or high‑tech environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow rigorous quality procedures.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and learning.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
