Spanish AI Trainer - Remote

About the role

We are looking for a native or near‑native Spanish speaker to join our remote AI training team. You will help shape next‑generation language models by providing high‑quality, real‑world Spanish input and feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Spot‑check Spanish items, identify quality issues, and provide feedback through Discord and other channels.
• Communicate updates, new guidelines, and workflow changes to trainers and QA specialists.
• Answer trainer/QA questions about Spanish wording, grammar, tone, register, and cultural nuances.
• Activate and monitor remote contributors, encouraging participation and tracking availability.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as style guides, FAQs, trackers, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
• Schedule and lead onboarding and training sessions for new team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, Education, QA, or a related field.
• Native or near‑native Spanish proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Excellent English to follow guidelines and communicate with the team.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Spanish writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or similar workflows.
• Deep knowledge of Spanish grammar, spelling, punctuation, accents, tone, register, and cultural context for both Latin American and European variants.
• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and spot issues such as mistranslations, unnatural tone, missing accents, hallucinated claims, and inconsistent terminology.
• Experience leading or supporting remote annotation teams is a strong plus.
