Software Engineer - Full Stack

About the role

Perceptyx is looking for a Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join its global technology team. You will help bridge people analytics and organizational action by building scalable, reliable, and maintainable software that empowers enterprise leaders to drive behavioral change.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications using PostgreSQL, Python, Go, TypeScript, and React.
• Focus on core backend architecture (60‑70% of effort) while contributing to frontend features as needed.
• Participate in system analysis, technical implementation, and design of multi‑product platform services and cloud environments.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and data scientists to translate user needs into intuitive features.
• Write clean, performant, well‑documented code and engage in constructive code reviews.
• Optimize database queries, reporting layers, and frontend components for speed, security, and scale.
• Integrate AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) with careful prompt engineering and output validation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on software design, scripting, and unit testing.
• Experience with distributed architectures or database‑driven enterprise applications.
• Comfortable handling both backend and lighter frontend tasks.
