Senior/Lead Full‑Stack Engineer (PHP, Laravel, JS/TS)

About the role

Join a leading European online car marketplace as a Senior/Lead Full‑Stack Engineer. You will drive the design and delivery of scalable backend services and modern frontend features while championing AI‑assisted development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable backend services using PHP (Laravel).
• Build and maintain frontend features with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Leverage AI tools for code generation, testing, debugging, performance optimization and documentation.
• Lead technical design discussions, own complex features end‑to‑end, and drive improvements in code quality, reliability and security.
• Participate in compensated on‑call rotations and contribute to cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of professional backend development experience, with 6+ years in PHP/Laravel.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and mentor engineers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a Canadian‑timezone remote team.
