Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Remote

About the role

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at BairesDev, you will ensure that critical systems remain reliable, observable, and resilient at scale. You will work across multi‑cluster Kubernetes environments and modern observability stacks, shaping reliability standards that directly impact user experience and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters, including operators, autoscaling, and multi‑cluster coordination.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm.
• Implement and sustain observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry) for proactive issue detection.
• Define, track, and improve reliability metrics such as SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
• Lead post‑incident reviews and drive continuous improvement across the platform.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including multi‑cluster management.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines and using Terraform/Helm.
• Hands‑on knowledge of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry).
• Experience defining SLO/SLI targets and managing error budgets.
• Background in cloud security tooling and IAM hardening.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
