Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join an innovative hospitality company that operates services in Azure and traditional data centers. The role focuses on building and maintaining large‑scale, fault‑tolerant systems while ensuring high availability and rapid improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve the full lifecycle of services, from design to production.
• Establish and enhance monitoring capabilities to reduce outage frequency and duration.
• Create sustainable systems through automation, uplift initiatives, and continuous reliability improvements.
• Lead the design of major software components, systems, and features to boost availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
• Analyze and support services before launch, including capacity planning and system‑design consulting.
• Conduct post‑incident analysis and reviews, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Azure services (or other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP).
• Confidence and hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes.
• Recent, fluent experience with Terraform (Chef experience is a plus).
• Solid background in Unix/Linux administration and understanding of system internals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, release orchestration, and configuration management of VMs.
• Cloud‑agnostic mindset with the ability to work across multiple cloud environments.
• Programming experience in one or more languages such as C#, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
