Senior .NET Software Engineer with ATM experience

About the role

Plan A Technologies is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer with deep expertise in AWS and ATM systems. You will build and scale robust, cloud‑native solutions while providing 24/7 mission‑critical support as part of an on‑call rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, scalable applications using .NET Core/6+.
• Manage and optimise AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, RDS, and SQS.
• Act as a technical escalation point for critical issues during on‑call shifts.
• Proactively monitor application performance and implement automated remediation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver micro‑service based architectures.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience with the .NET stack.
• Proven experience with AWS services and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Strong knowledge of relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.
• Experience with ATM systems, including contact and contactless kernels.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
