About the role

Join FullStackFullStack’s talent network and work remotely for U.S. clients as a Mid-Level Golang Engineer. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers on high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

Integrate directly into the client’s team and contribute to design and implementation of Go services.
Develop, test, and maintain both RESTful and gRPC APIs using idiomatic Go patterns.
Design, operate, and monitor distributed systems, including message‑broker integrations.
Write and debug Docker containers and Kubernetes manifests, ensuring reliable workloads.
Participate in CI/CD pipelines and contribute to developer tooling.

Required profile

3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
2+ years of hands‑on Go development, including modules, goroutines, channels, context, and testing.
Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
Production experience with distributed systems and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, etc.).

Required skills

Go (Golang), Go modules, goroutines, channels, context, testing toolchain.
Docker, Kubernetes (manifest authoring and debugging).
RESTful and gRPC service design.
Message brokers: Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS.
Concurrency, parallelism, synchronization fundamentals.
Cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure (compute, networking, load balancing).
CI/CD tools: Tekton, Argo, Jenkins X, Spinnaker, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
Event specifications: CDEvents, CloudEvents.
Workflow orchestration: Temporal.io, Cadence, Argo Workflows.
Batch/real‑time stream processing.
Open‑source contributions.
JavaScript or TypeScript.
Observability: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus.
SQL performance, stored procedures, ETL, multi‑source data integration.
Google Cloud services: GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Load Balancing, IAP.
