Senior Manager, Engineering Cyberbank Core

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on engineering leader to manage and grow a high‑performing team within our Cyberbank Core product. The role involves driving delivery, partnering with product, ensuring operational excellence, and shaping the technical roadmap for a next‑generation banking core used by SoFi Bank and expanding across the fintech ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Build, lead and mentor a high‑performing software engineering team.
• Own development and delivery of software products, embedding quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Partner with the Product Manager on long‑term vision and short‑term road‑maps.
• Design system architecture, dive deep into overall system design, and ensure resilience.
• Implement and champion processes that optimise product flow.
• Coordinate work across multiple teams and drive operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of programming experience on a modern technology stack.
• 5+ years of software engineering management experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Continuous Delivery, unit testing, build & deploy pipelines, and testing in production.
• Proven ability to deliver work with dependencies across multiple teams.
• Expertise in building and operating resilient components in large‑scale distributed systems.
• Experience building or operating services on AWS or other cloud environments.
