Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to join a leading sustainable packaging company. You will design, implement and operate cloud‑native solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring high availability, performance and continuous delivery for critical business services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and manage Azure resources such as App Services, VMs, Container Instances, AKS, SQL Server and Azure SQL.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub Actions, SonarQube Cloud, Terraform and Docker.
• Define and monitor SLOs, SLIs and golden signals; create Datadog dashboards for real‑time observability.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis and post‑mortem documentation.
• Automate configuration and provisioning with Shell, YAML, JSON and Python scripts.
• Administer Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) and entry‑level Windows Server environments.
• Document work and track tickets using Jira and Confluence within ITSM/ITIL processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, SRE or cloud engineering.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving and proactive communication.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional and remote teams.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure (App Services, VMs, Container Instances, AKS, SQL Server, Azure SQL).
• Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, SonarQube Cloud, Terraform, Docker.
• Datadog, SRE concepts (SLO, SLI, golden signals, instrumentation).
• Shell scripting, YAML, JSON, Python.
• Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
• Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), ITSM/ITIL.
• AI productivity tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot.
