Senior Data Engineer

About the role

SunnyData is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help customers build and operate scalable data solutions that enable AI, machine learning, and business intelligence insights. You will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Support new and existing customers by guiding technical decisions and tracking project progress.
• Design, build, and operationalize complex data architectures, including data ingestion, transformation, and quality assurance.
• Analyze data sources, recommend inclusion in analytical workflows, and implement data governance, security, and quality measures.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver data products and educate end users on analytics environments.
• Perform testing, debugging, and incident resolution for data movement and transformation code.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and data product development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Intermediate leadership abilities and proven self‑motivation.
• Excellent time‑management and prioritization capabilities.
