Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer who is passionate about designing, automating, and operating secure, scalable cloud platforms. You will work in a complex enterprise environment where Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and cloud automation are essential to delivering reliable, high‑performing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain secure, scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Build and optimise reusable Terraform modules and automation pipelines.
• Deploy, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
• Manage Azure networking, identity, security, and governance components.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Automate cloud operations using Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security through Azure observability tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical leadership for Azure initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent experience (desired).
• 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Expert‑level experience with Terraform, including modules, workspaces, remote state, and IaC best practices.
• Strong hands‑on experience administering AKS in production.
• Azure certifications (AZ‑104, AZ‑305) and/or HashiCorp Terraform Associate are highly desirable.

• Scripting languages: Bash, PowerShell, Python.
• Linux administration.
• Cloud security, identity management, monitoring, logging, and observability.
