Senior AI Engineer (Hermes Agent)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with deep expertise in the Hermes Agent framework to design and deploy autonomous, self‑improving systems across complex corporate environments. You will build "digital colleagues" that integrate persistent memory and autonomous skill creation into core ERP, global trade, and government portal workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate Hermes Agent with modern ERP and global trade management solutions to automate back‑office, financial, and logistics processes.
• Architect secure, sovereign interfaces for government and authority portals, ensuring automated compliance reporting.
• Design and manage isolated Hermes Profiles, configuring SOUL.md, persistent memories, and custom skill‑sets for departmental needs.
• Develop autonomous skills using the agentskills.io standard and standardize connections via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Implement the GEPA Self‑Evolution system to optimise procedures, reduce token consumption, and improve prompt efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience configuring and scaling the Hermes Agent framework, including memory backends such as HindSight.
• Strong background in enterprise integration, especially connecting AI agents to ERP and global trade APIs.
• Commitment to digital sovereignty with hands‑on deployment of models on self‑hosted GPU clusters using vLLM or Ollama.
• Familiarity with EU AI Act and GDPR technical requirements for transparency and auditability.
• Advanced Python development skills, including async patterns and typed schemas (e.g., Pydantic).
