QA Lead – Quality Engineering & AI‑augmented Testing

About the role

Arionkoder, an AI consulting firm, is seeking a hands‑on QA Lead to own quality strategy, drive both manual and automated testing, and embed AI‑augmented QA practices across product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate a coherent quality vision, set test strategies based on risk and business impact, and ensure non‑functional risks are addressed.
• Lead the QA team: plan, distribute work, maintain visibility, unblock blockers, and coach members toward autonomy.
• Design and execute structured exploratory testing, create and maintain smoke, regression and release checklists.
• Guide automation framework decisions, build stable CI‑integrated test suites, and keep flakiness under control.
• Own defect triage, produce concise release quality reports, and make go/no‑go decisions backed by evidence.
• Apply AI tools daily to accelerate test case generation, automation, triage and reporting while maintaining human oversight.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional Quality Engineering experience with deep manual and automation expertise.
• 2+ years leading QA efforts or teams, accountable for quality objectives without formal line management.
• 5+ years designing test cases, plans and strategies for complex systems, including non‑functional risks.
• Strong communication skills to influence upstream requirements and convey quality status to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Modern UI automation tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or Appium.
• API testing: Postman, REST clients, RestAssured, Supertest, Pytest + requests.
• Test case management: Qase, TestRail, Xray, Zephyr.
• Bug tracking: Jira, Linear, Asana.
• CI/CD pipelines: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins.
• Scripting/programming: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java.
• Risk‑based testing, test design, defect management, and quality reporting.
