Principal NetSuite Developer

About the role

The Principal NetSuite Developer will serve as the ultimate technical authority for the enterprise NetSuite ecosystem. Working autonomously, you will lead solution architecture, drive pre‑sales scoping, and oversee complex integration networks while championing engineering standards and DevOps frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture and code reviews across internal teams and contractors to enforce best practices and platform stability.
• Provide strategic technical leadership, mentor junior and senior developers, and introduce innovative engineering standards.
• Design, build, and guide development teams delivering enterprise‑level NetSuite solutions, especially in Manufacturing, SuiteBilling, CPQ, and e‑commerce integrations.
• Implement agentic AI development platforms (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and create automated agent workflows to accelerate the software development lifecycle.
• Define, implement, and maintain modern DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, automating environment management, code deployment, and metadata orchestration using SuiteCloud CLI.
• Architect point‑to‑point and middleware integrations, leading enterprise iPaaS implementations with Boomi and NetSuite Integration Platform (NSIP).
• Partner with delivery leadership and pre‑sales teams to scope projects, validate solutions, conduct discovery, and provide accurate Levels of Effort.
• Strategize and execute complex data migration initiatives, continuously refactoring legacy configurations for optimal performance.

Required profile

• 10+ years of dedicated NetSuite ERP and OneWorld experience.
• Expert‑level mastery of SuiteScript (1.0, 2.0, 2.1), SuiteCloud CLI, SuiteQueries, and SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).
• Proven track record establishing CI/CD pipelines, Git best practices, and automated NetSuite deployments.
• Hands‑on experience building agentic AI workflows and integrating AI tools into development pipelines.
• Deep technical expertise with Boomi (required) and/or NetSuite Integration Platform (NSIP).
• Strong consultative leadership skills, capable of guiding clients and internal stakeholders.
