Principal Consultant – NetSuite Development

About the role

Oracle is looking for a Principal Consultant with deep expertise in NetSuite development to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise solutions. The role blends technical leadership with hands‑on coding, leveraging AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions on the NetSuite/SuiteCloud platform.
• Implement customizations, integrations, and performance improvements following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full software development lifecycle.
• Apply Oracle methodologies, document processes, and promote leading practices.
• Utilize AI‑assisted tools such as Codex, Claude, or Copilot to speed up implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Review and validate AI‑generated code for security, performance, maintainability, and alignment with NetSuite best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software development experience in enterprise or SaaS environments.
• 2+ years in technical consulting, solution delivery, or customer‑facing development roles.
• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite/SuiteCloud development.
• Strong programming background in JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and integration frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and version‑control tools.
• Experience using AI‑assisted development frameworks (e.g., Codex, Claude, Copilot).
