Platform Software Engineer – Kubernetes (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

Join FullStackFullStack's talent network as a Platform Software Engineer focused on Kubernetes. You will work remotely with U.S. clients, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to build and operate containerized platforms for internet‑facing services.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and scale containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Build deployment automation and manage service lifecycles in Kubernetes environments.
• Configure DNS architecture, authoritative servers, zone delegation, and domain management.
• Set up email infrastructure, including SMTP, mail routing, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Develop web‑scraping, content generation, and data‑transformation pipelines.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Grafana, Prometheus or similar tools.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure.
• Design and maintain scalable backend services using Go, Python, Java or similar languages.
• Ensure secure communications through PKI, TLS certificates, and related protocols.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Hands‑on experience with self‑hosted open‑source platforms and internet‑facing services.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and contribute to shared libraries.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and strong attention to detail.
