Luxury Air Specialist

About the role

The Luxury Air Specialist provides high‑touch, personalized air travel solutions for GTC Independent Advisors and their discerning clients. Using the Sabre GDS platform, the specialist designs and manages complex itineraries, ensuring every booking reflects meticulous attention to detail and premium service.

Key responsibilities

• Process air booking requests for Independent Advisors via Sabre GDS.
• Offer tailored travel recommendations aligned with client preferences, schedules and budgets.
• Design complex routings, optimize fares and implement ticketing strategies.
• Maintain proactive communication, handling exchanges, reissues, schedule changes and post‑travel follow‑up.
• Monitor failed ticketing queues and assist with online booking tool reservations.
• Liaise with airlines to resolve operational issues, secure waivers and manage disruptions.
• Record all client interactions, bookings and correspondence in compliance with company standards.
• Cross‑sell and upsell relevant air products to enhance the travel experience.
• Stay updated on airline policies, luxury cabin products, loyalty programs and industry trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in air travel reservations or ticketing, preferably in a luxury leisure environment.
• Strong knowledge of airline fare rules, international routing and premium cabin offerings.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with a professional, service‑oriented demeanor.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining composure and precision under pressure.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in booking documentation.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Sabre GDS (ticketing, exchanges, fare construction, queue management).
