Lead Front-End Engineer (React/Next.js) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Front‑End Engineer to own UI strategy and development for high‑scale web products. The role blends hands‑on coding with technical leadership, focusing on React, Next.js, and TypeScript while driving best‑practice adoption across distributed Agile teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement high‑fidelity UI, animations, and business logic using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Architect and integrate headless CMS solutions, especially Sanity.io, ensuring seamless content delivery.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems following Atomic Design principles with Storybook.
• Mentor front‑end engineers, enforce code quality, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA+), and performance standards.
• Collaborate closely with Design and Product teams to guarantee feasibility and pixel‑perfect execution.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern styling frameworks.
• Strong experience with headless CMS, particularly Sanity.io, and migrations from WordPress or AEM.
• Solid understanding of state‑management solutions (Zustand, Redux, XState) and front‑end testing frameworks.
• Proven experience leading distributed teams within Agile/SCRUM environments.
